Submitting service desk tickets via the ticket portal

The portal for submitting tickets enables customers to report issues or request support by submitting a simple, publicly available form, without registering or signing in to the system.

When submitted, a new ticket is created and assigned automatically to a support agent of the provider.

The form is enabled or disabled by the provider, and can be accessed by registered or non-registered users. Note that the provider can also choose to restrict and not process requests from unregistered users.

To submit a ticket via the public ticket portal

  1. Navigate to the public ticket portal URL shared by the provider.
  2. In the Create new ticket dialog, define the following:

    • In the Ticket title field, add the title for the ticket.
    • In the Email address field, add your email address.

If the email address is recognized by the system, or the provider has selected not to restrict requests from unregistered users, the ticket will be created.

If the email address is not recognized, and the provider has selected to not process requests from unregistered users, the ticket will not be created.

    • In the Phone number field, add a relevant phone number.

    • In the Ticket details section, add a description and comments (including images and other media files, up to a maximum of 25 MB; the supported formats and types are listed under the Attachments section) in the displayed text box.
    • In the Attachments section, click (or drag and drop) to add any relevant attachments.

Attachments can include any of the following formats and types (up to a maximum of 25 MB):

      • Media: .avi, .mp4, .mp3
      • Emails: .eml, .msg
      • Images: .png, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .heic, .bmp, .tiff, .svg
      • Document and log files: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .txt, .log, .pdf
      • Archives: .zip, .rar
  3. Click Submit.

A confirmation message that your ticket was created is displayed. You will also be notified by email that a ticket was created.
