Changing quota for a device

The Cyber Protection service matches quotas and devices automatically. To find out which quota the device is assigned to, view the Service quota section in the device Details.

In rare cases, there may be a need to change this configuration manually. For example, a virtual machine is assigned to the Workstations quota. After you purchase the Virtual machines quota, you may want to assign the machine to this cheaper quota.

To change quota for a device

  1. Select the device.
  2. Click Details.
  3. In Service quota, click Change.
  4. Select the new quota or select No quota. No quota means that the currently used quota will be released, and you can assign another device to this quota.
  5. Confirm your decision.
